“1995, I was just starting out in rugby. 1995, Jonah Lomu burst onto the rugby scene during the World Cup in South Africa. A revolution began in our sport with its first global superstar. Personally, at the time, I watched it from a distance. Rugby was, for me, just a way to let off steam with friends at the amateur level. A few years later, and even today, I realise how lucky I was to have met this man, this player, this icon. Life always has wonderful surprises in store for us.
Having the opportunity to develop a range of products with my brand, Ruckfield, with the approval and support of Nadene Lomu, to help perpetuate the story of an extraordinary, unique player makes me proud.
