June 18 2025 marks a significant day in New Zealand’s sporting history; not only for Jonah, but the All Blacks and every avid rugby fan. It’s been a remarkable thirty years since Jonah broke ground with his phenomenal 4 tries against England and his triumphant try over those that got in his way, particularly Mike Catt.
To this day Jonah remains celebrated by his many fans not only in New Zealand but around the globe.
Jonah as a phenomenon brought endless rushes of adrenaline to every rugby mad fan the moment he set foot on the field; as for the moments off the field, he was an even greater superstar with his kindness, respect and generosity.
Jonah will never be forgotten and will always be truly adored by his fans; but loved and missed even more-so by his family, Nadene, Brayley and Dhyreille. We salute you Jonah.
